Get in Touch
Questions about a specific billing situation, a gap in the content, or something you’ve run into in the system that doesn’t fit anything you’ve read. This is the right place.
How to Reach Us
Email is the only way to get in touch. There’s no contact form, no live chat, no social media inbox to monitor. Just email. It gets read, though responses aren’t always quick.
What This Is Good For
The most useful messages are specific. A situation, a document, a question that came up after reading an article. General questions about how medical billing works are better answered by the site itself. If you’ve read the relevant content and something still isn’t clear, that’s worth an email.
This is also the right channel for corrections. If something on the site is wrong, out of date, or missing an important nuance, send it over. That kind of feedback is taken seriously.
What This Isn’t
A few things this contact channel can’t help with:
- Legal advice or representation. This site explains how the process works. It does not provide legal counsel for your specific situation. If you need an attorney, a nonprofit legal aid organization or a consumer law attorney who handles FDCPA cases is the right next step.
- Negotiating with a hospital or collector on your behalf. The information here is meant to help you do that yourself, or to go in better prepared when talking to someone who can.
- Urgent or time-sensitive matters. Email response times are inconsistent. If you have a court deadline or a garnishment notice, don’t wait on a reply here.
- Press, advertising, or link exchange requests. These are not something we participate in.
